At Westchester Child Development Center (WCDC), we believe that learning shouldn’t stop when the school bell rings. That’s why our 2025–2026 Afterschool and Saturday Enrichment Programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and nurture every child’s full potential—whether through academics, hands-on STEM projects, or creative exploration.
🕒 Afterschool Programs (Monday–Friday | 3:00–6:00 PM)
Open to K–5 students, WCDC’s afterschool program combines structured enrichment with the flexibility busy families need. Students receive homework assistance, participate in interactive games, crafts, and drawing, and can opt into subject-specific courses taught by certified instructors.
New for 2025–2026, we’ve added Spanish and Science & Engineering to our weekday offerings:
Monday: Spanish
Tuesday: Public Speaking & Writing
Wednesday: LEGO Robotics
Thursday: Math Kangaroo Challenge Prep
Friday: Science & Engineering
With licensed school bus pick-up from Fox Meadow, Greenacres, and Edgewood (other schools upon request), and optional send-home service available, WCDC makes afterschool care both convenient and enriching.
📌 Membership plans start at $199/month for 1-day/week and go up to $599/month for 5-days/week.
📚 Saturday Enrichment Programs (Sept 6 – Dec 13, Jan 10 – Jun 13)
WCDC’s Saturday Enrichment is where STEM meets storytelling. Divided into two tracks, students can choose from:
1. STEM & Innovation Track
LEGO Explorer (K–1) and LEGO Challenge (G2–5)
Scratch Coding (K–2) and Python Coding (G3+)
Science Explorer and our new Soaring in the Sky aviation program
2. Academic Enrichment Track
Creative Writing
Public Speaking & Debate (featuring curriculum developed with Columbia University)
Reading Comprehension
Each class features project-based learning, small group attention, and passionate instructors ready to inspire.
