Are you searching for the best camp to keep your child engaged, inspired, and learning during the upcoming school recess? Look no further! From March 30 to April 3, 2026, the Westchester Child Development Center (WCDC) is hosting an extraordinary journey: "The Global Egg: Traditions, STEM & Art".
Designed for students in grades K-8, this program stands out as the best spring break camp in Westchester by blending high-level engineering with rich cultural storytelling.

Why "The Global Egg" is Westchester’s Top Choice
Most camps offer basic childcare; WCDC offers a Global Passport. Each day, students dive into a different corner of the world, using the universal symbol of the egg to explore history and science.
Day 1: Eastern Europe – Students design a "Lunar Lander" to protect an egg using recycled materials and decode the ancient symbols of Ukrainian Pysanky.
Day 2: Ancient Egypt – A deep dive into the Chemistry of Color, using turmeric and red cabbage to create natural pH-indicator dyes.
Day 3: Latin America – Exploring Acoustic Science by building confetti-filled Cascarones and measuring sound waves.
Day 4: Oceania – A biology focus comparing egg-laying species like the Bilby and the Rabbit.
Day 5: The WCDC Hunt – The grand finale where students use LEGO Spike Prime robotics to build "Smart Scavenger" robots to collect hidden eggs.
