At Westchester Child Development Center (WCDC), we know that big dreams often start with small bricks. That’s why our Wednesday LEGO Explore program is designed especially for our younger learners (K–3), offering them a fun, hands-on introduction to engineering, robotics, and teamwork.

Under the guidance of Coach Giovanny “Gio” De Los Angeles, our experienced LEGO Challenge Head Coach, children gain more than just building skills—they develop the confidence, creativity, and problem-solving mindset that will prepare them for future competitions like the FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Challenge.

With a proven track record in guiding WCDC’s LEGO Challenge teams to success in regional FLL competitions, he knows how to make learning exciting while instilling the discipline and growth mindset needed for long-term success.

By mentoring our younger LEGO explorers, Coach Gio ensures they enter later competitions with strong technical skills and teamwork experience—making the transition to LEGO Challenge smooth and inspiring.
