Affordable Afterschool Care in Westchester: New School Bus Pick-Up Service + Program Options

Busy parents know the hardest part of afterschool care is getting kids safely from school to their activities. That’s why Westchester Child Development Center (WCDC) is expanding our licensed school bus pick-up service in Scarsdale for the 2025–2026 school year.

Now, in addition to serving Fox Meadow, Greenacres, and Heathcote with school bus, we have limited seats available for Greenville and Quaker Ridge families:

Greenville: 2 seats open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 1 seat on Tuesday, Thursday
Quaker Ridge: 2 seats open every weekday

This makes WCDC one of the few afterschool programs in Westchester to provide direct school-to-center transportation across multiple Scarsdale schools.

Two Affordable Afterschool Care Options

At WCDC, families can choose between Afterschool Membership Programs and Afterschool Classes depending on their child’s needs.

🌟 Afterschool Membership Program – $199/month starting

The Membership is designed to give children a safe, balanced, and fun afternoon after school. Activities include:

For families seeking academic enrichment and skill-building, WCDC offers rotating classes Monday through Friday:

Monday: Spanish
Tuesday: Writing & Public Speaking
Wednesday: LEGO Robotics
Thursday: Math Kangaroo Prep
Friday: Science
