1. What is the new registration fee policy?
• The annual registration fee is $50 per student, covering the academic year from September to August. A separate $50 registration fee is required for summer camps. Starting October 1, 2024, the registration fee will only apply to the fall and spring semesters.
2. What is the policy for class credit due to absences?
• If a student misses a class for personal reasons and notifies WCDC at least 24 hours in advance, they will receive a class credit valid for one year.
• For Saturday classes, only one class credit is allowed per semester.
• If a class is canceled due to a teacher’s absence, WCDC will arrange a make-up session.
3. What is the pricing policy for single-session bookings for afterschool and enrichment programs?
• If parents book fewer than 8 consecutive sessions, an additional $10 fee per session will apply.
• For bookings of 8 or more consecutive sessions, the standard rate will be charged.
4. What is the policy for schedule adjustments and short-term arrangements?
• Afterschool Program (Monday to Friday):
For bookings of fewer than 8 weeks, parents must provide at least 2 weeks’ notice to WCDC to allow for proper arrangements. WCDC will make every effort to accommodate requests, but adjustments are subject to availability and may not always be possible.
• Saturday Enrichment Classes:
For bookings of fewer than 8 weeks, parents must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to WCDC to ensure proper scheduling. Please note that adjustments depend on availability.
5. What is the late pick-up fee policy?
• 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM: $5
• 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM: $10
• After 7:00 PM: $20
