WCDC Spring 2027 Program Book New Schedule and Class Updates

5 min read

A new program schedule can change the rhythm of a family’s week. For Spring 2027, WCDC is introducing a refreshed class lineup that gives students a more predictable weekday flow, a stronger Saturday enrichment block, and clear choices across communication, STEM, math, science, robotics, and chess.

The Spring 2027 program book reflects a schedule built around variety. Each weekday focuses on a different learning area, while Saturday brings together Intro to FLL and three chess levels in set time blocks. This makes it easier to plan ahead, choose the right class level, and balance enrichment with school, activities, and family time.

The Spring 2027 schedule gives each weekday a clear focus

The biggest change in the WCDC Spring 2027 program book is the way classes are grouped by day. Instead of asking families to sort through a crowded list of options, the new schedule gives each weekday a clear theme.

Day

Class or option

Monday

Public Speaking or Intro to FLL(Grade 3+)

Tuesday

Coding

Wednesday

Lego Explorer

Thursday

Singapore Math

Friday

Science

Saturday

Intro to FLL and Chess Levels 1, 2, and 3

This structure helps students build a steady weekly routine. A student interested in technology can look to Tuesday for Coding and Wednesday for Lego Explorer. A student who wants to strengthen problem-solving can plan for Singapore Math on Thursday, then continue with Science on Friday.

Monday now offers a choice between Public Speaking and Intro to FLL. That gives families two different starting points for the week. One option supports communication and confidence. The other introduces students to robotics-style teamwork and problem solving through FLL preparation.

Monday now offers two different learning paths

Monday’s updated options are one of the most useful parts of the new schedule. Public Speaking and Intro to FLL serve different learning goals, so the choice can be based on the student’s interests and needs.

Public Speaking is a strong fit for students who are building confidence in sharing ideas. It can support skills like organizing thoughts, speaking clearly, listening to others, and presenting in front of a group. These are useful across school subjects, activities, and everyday communication.

Intro to FLL gives students a pathway into robotics, teamwork, and challenge-based learning. It is designed as an entry point, which makes it especially helpful for students who are curious about FLL but not yet ready for a more advanced commitment.

The Monday update also gives families more flexibility. Students who prefer verbal expression can begin the week with communication practice. Students who prefer building, experimenting, and problem solving can choose the FLL track. You can choose one option

STEM learning is spread across the week

The Spring 2027 schedule places STEM-related learning throughout the week rather than concentrating it all on one day. That creates a natural progression.

Tuesday is set aside for Coding. This gives students a dedicated space to work on computational thinking, logic, sequencing, and creative problem solving. Coding classes often help students see how instructions, patterns, and testing work in a practical way.

Wednesday moves into Lego Explorer. This class supports hands-on learning through building, testing, and improving designs. It can connect well with students who enjoy learning by making things, especially when they can see how small changes affect the outcome.

Friday closes the weekday schedule with Science. Ending the week with science gives students a chance to ask questions, explore ideas, and connect concepts to the world around them.

Together, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday create a balanced STEM pathway. Students do not have to absorb every technical subject at once. They can move from screen-based logic to building and then to scientific exploration.

Hands-on classes remain a key part of the Spring 2027 program.

Thursday continues the focus on Singapore Math

Thursday is reserved for Singapore Math, giving the subject a consistent place in the weekly schedule.

Singapore Math is known for helping students understand math concepts through clear models, structured thinking, and step-by-step problem solving. In a weekly enrichment setting, that consistency matters. Students can build routines around practice, review, and gradual growth.

Placing Singapore Math on Thursday also creates a good balance in the week. It sits between hands-on Lego Explorer on Wednesday and Science on Friday. That gives students a shift in learning style without breaking the academic focus of the program.

For families reviewing the program book, Thursday is now easy to identify as the math day. That makes planning simpler, especially for students who need steady support or enrichment in math.

Saturday brings Intro to FLL and three chess levels

Saturday has the most detailed schedule in the Spring 2027 update. It includes Intro to FLL in the afternoon and three separate chess levels earlier in the day.

Saturday class

Time

Chess Level 1

9:00 AM to 10:30 AM EST

Chess Level 2

10:45 AM to 12:15 PM EST

Chess Level 3

1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST

Intro to FLL

2:30 PM to 4:00 PM EST

The chess schedule is divided by level, which helps students join a class that better matches their experience. Chess Level 1 gives newer players a place to learn foundations. Chess Level 2 can support students who already understand the basics and are ready to build stronger habits. Chess Level 3 gives more experienced students a later block for deeper practice.

The Saturday Intro to FLL time, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM EST, gives families another FLL option beyond Monday. This can help students who cannot attend on Monday or who prefer a weekend class.

The updated Saturday schedule creates a clear path from morning chess to afternoon robotics preparation.

What the changes mean for planning

The new Spring 2027 schedule is easier to read because each day has a defined purpose. That helps in a few practical ways.

Families can compare classes by interest. A student drawn to speaking and leadership may look first at Monday Public Speaking. A student drawn to puzzles and strategy may look at Saturday chess. A student who enjoys building and technology may choose Coding, Lego Explorer, or Intro to FLL.

The schedule also supports balanced weekly planning. Students can take one focused class, build a multi-day enrichment plan, or use Saturday for a longer learning block.

For students trying something new, the updated structure makes entry points clearer. Intro to FLL appears on both Monday and Saturday. Chess is separated into levels. Weekday subjects are easy to remember.

A clear start for the Spring 2027 program

The WCDC Spring 2027 Program Book New Schedule and Class Updates give families a simpler way to understand what is available and when each class meets. The change is not just about moving classes around. It creates a weekly rhythm with clear subject areas, defined Saturday levels, and more visible pathways into communication, math, science, coding, chess, and FLL.

As the Spring 2027 program approaches, the best next step is to review the weekly schedule, choose the subject area that fits the student’s goals, and note the class day and time early. A clear plan now will make the new session easier to start with confidence.

We are running a special promotion til Dec 15th.
