At the Westchester Child Development Center (WCDC), we are dedicated to fostering the next generation of innovators. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our newest enrichment program, Intro to FLL (FIRST® LEGO® League). This comprehensive course is designed to bridge the gap between creative play and competitive engineering, preparing students for the exciting world of robotics competitions.

A Summer of Innovation
The "Intro to FLL" course serves as a critical stepping stone for students ready to transition from basic builds to complex autonomous systems. Spanning from May 2nd to August 8th, this program will immerse students in the fundamentals of the FIRST® LEGO® League framework, focusing on:
Mechanical Design: Building stable, modular robot bases and efficient attachments.
Precision Coding: Transitioning from basic logic to advanced sensor integration and Python-based control.
The Innovation Project: Developing research-driven solutions to real-world challenges, a core pillar of the FLL experience.
Teamwork & Core Values: Learning the collaborative spirit and "Gracious Professionalism" that defines the robotics community.
Class Schedule
To accommodate our growing community, we are offering two Saturday sessions:
Session A: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Session B: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Meet the Instructor: Sohaib Babar

Why Join "Intro to FLL"?
Robotics education is a powerful tool for building a growth mindset. By tackling complex challenges, students learn that "failure" is simply a data point on the path to a working solution. At WCDC, we are committed to providing professional-grade mentorship to ensure every child has the tools to excel in the 21st-century economy.
Enrollment is now open for the May–August term. Space is limited to ensure personalized instruction. Join us as we build, code, and innovate toward a brighter future.
