Westchester Child Development Center’s Saturday Enrichment Program engages children with hands-on LEGO® Essentials and SPIKE projects to explore STEM concepts, nurtures communication skills through public speaking and creative writing workshops, and sparks curiosity with "Soaring in the Sky" aviation adventures. This dynamic blend of activities fosters creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in a vibrant, collaborative environment.
🧱 LEGO Essentials (10:30 AM–12:00 PM)
Young builders master foundational engineering skills through hands-on LEGO® projects, exploring mechanics, design, and creative problem-solving while bringing imaginative structures to life.
🎙️ Public Speaking (1:00–2:00 PM, Grades 2+)
Kids gain confidence and clarity in self-expression through interactive games, structured debates, and presentation practice, learning to articulate ideas with poise and persuasion.
✈️ Soaring in the Sky

Aspiring pilots explore aviation principles through flight simulators, tackling aerodynamics, navigation, and real-world flying scenarios in an immersive, sky-high adventure!
🤖 LEGO Spike (9:00–10:30 AM, 10:30-12:00PM Grades 3+)
Dive into robotics and coding with LEGO® SPIKE, where kids design, build, and program interactive models to solve real-world challenges—fostering creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in a dynamic STEM environment.
✍️ Creative Writing (2:00–3:00 PM, Grades 2+)
