At Westchester Child Development Center (WCDC), we are thrilled to officially launch our training and recruitment for the 2026 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Competition! As we continue building a legacy of excellence in STEM and robotics education, our LEGO program is designed to empower K-5 students to build, code, and compete—with confidence and creativity.
🏆 Why FIRST LEGO League?
The FIRST LEGO League is one of the world’s most prestigious robotics competitions for kids aged 4 to 16. Participants design, build, and program LEGO robots to complete missions while also working on real-world innovation projects. FLL nurtures problem-solving, teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership skills in an exciting, hands-on environment.

WCDC’s LEGO team made waves in 2024 by placing 7th in the Hudson Valley Scrimmage—a huge achievement considering our team was the youngest among 24 groups! Now, we’re aiming even higher for 2026, and you’re invited to join us on this journey.
